1912 Lincoln Cent, Pleasing PR65 Red

1912 1C PR65 Red PCGS. Bright sandy-red surfaces prevail on this Gem matte proof 1912 Lincoln cent, from a smallish emission of 2,172 pieces. The strike brings out nicely the fine details in Lincoln's upper hair, beard, and the coat in a way that only a proof can. Some dark flecks appear in the central reverse but detract little from the overall pleasing effect. Population: 19 in 65 Red, 2 finer (7/16).(Registry values: N4719)
