Description

1921-D Dime, MS66 Full Bands
Only One Coin Finer at PCGS

1921-D 10C MS66 Full Bands PCGS. The 1921-D is slightly scarcer in high-grade Full Bands than its Philadelphia counterpart, and it is particularly rare at the Premium Gem level. PCGS has seen only a single Full Bands coin finer than the present (4/17). This piece displays a sharp central strike with minor weakness around the outer edge of the border legends. Satiny luster is unabraded and shows no significant toning. The last two PCGS coins that we offered in this grade garnered just shy of $20,000 each. We look forward to seeing the present piece continue the trend. Population: 28 in 66 (6 in 66+) Full Bands, 1 finer (4/17).(Registry values: N4719)

Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 23HF, PCGS# 4937, Greysheet# 4544)
