Description

1915-S 50C MS65 PCGS. CAC. Originality is the key to understanding the CAC sticker on this coin. It would be possible to find a brighter coin for certain. Perhaps even a better struck one. But it isn't possible to modify the word "original." You can't find a "more original" 1915-S. Each side is draped in dusky gray patina. A couple of small marks can be found with earnest searching and the strike is predictably soft on the eagle's wing. Seldom seen as such and worth the effort to view and bid a little extra for. Population: 52 in 65 (2 in 65+), 12 finer. CAC: 14 in 65, 5 finer (5/16).
