Breathtaking 1866 Rays Five Cent
PR67 Cameo

1866 5C Rays PR67 Cameo PCGS. This is an absolutely breathtaking type coin that represents the first year of issue for the five-cent nickel piece. The surfaces are essentially perfect, as one can infer from the extremely high grade given this piece. The fields are predictably deeply reflective, with intense mint frost over the devices. Although the coin presents as untoned, close examination reveals a hint of pale pastel-golden color, slightly more noticeable on the obverse. Perfect for the collector of high grade type or a date collector who must have only the best. Population: 3 in 67 Cameo, 0 finer (9/08).
