1875 Twenty Cent, Brilliant PR65 Cameo
1875 20C PR65 Cameo NGC. CAC. Proof twenty cent pieces were struck for just four years, and since two of those dates are proof-only, there is substantial type demand on the 1875 and 1876 specimens. This brilliant Gem has ice-white devices and glittering mirrored fields. Careful inspection beneath a loupe locates a few faint hairlines on the right obverse field. Census: 11 in 65 Cameo, 10 finer (7/13).Ex: Long Beach Signature (Heritage, 5-6/2007), lot 858.
