Rare Large O Mintmark
1843-O 25C Large O VF30 PCGS. FS-501. Only one die marriage
is known of this scarce variety. The difference in mintmark size is
obvious. Violet-red centers cede to olive-green margins. No marks
are consequential. LIBERTY is sharp as are many of the eagle's
feathers. Population: 2 in 30, 4 finer (7/13).Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 23SS, Variety PCGS# 395927, Base PCGS# 5405, Greysheet# 227316)
