Description
1890-CC Liberty Twenty, MS62
Colorful, Lustrous Example
1890-CC $20 MS62 PCGS. Winter 1-A. From a late state of the
dies, this impressive MS62 specimen shows some loss of detail in
the rays and eagle's tail due to lapping, but the design elements
were strongly impressed and exhibit no actual wear. The orange-gold
surfaces are moderately abraded and exhibit vibrant cartwheel
luster. From a mintage of 91,209 pieces, the 1890-CC becomes scarce
at the MS62 grade level, and finer coins are condition rarities.
This coin will be a welcome addition to a fine collection or branch
mint type set. Population: 97 in 62 (5 in 62+), 8 finer
(10/25).(Registry values: N4719)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 26BY, PCGS# 9014, Greysheet# 9947)
Weight: 33.44 grams
