Sought-After Key Issue
1901-S 25C Good 4 NGC. As the series key, the 1901-S Barber
quarter is desirable at any grade level. The mintage was a mere
72,664 pieces. Most of the 1901-S issue slipped into circulation
before there was widespread interest in collecting mintmarks, which
did not generally begin until 1909. This specimen retains an
