Description

1894-S 50C MS64 PCGS. The 1894-S Barber half dollar is scarce in this grade and rare finer. Orange-gold and lilac-gray toning covers each side, masking any trivial abrasions that limit the grade. The eagle's right (facing) wing junction exhibits the usual strike softness, but the obverse stars are well-defined. Population: 40 in 64 (1 in 64+), 14 finer (7/18).(Registry values: N2998)
