1912 Cent, PR65 Red and Brown
Rare Matte Proof Issue
1912 1C PR65 Red and Brown PCGS. CAC. The 1912 Lincoln cent
is considered third-rarest in the matte proof series. Coins with
original mint red are scarce, yet this piece displays full red on
the obverse. It is only on the reverse that lime-green combines
with light brown to produce perceptible iridescence. Lightly
spotted on each side. Population: 42 in 65 Red and Brown, 14 finer
