Description

1882-CC Silver Dollar, MS67+
Few Examples Are Certified This Fine
Among the Finest at CAC

1882-CC $1 MS67+ PCGS. CAC. Ex: JCS Collection. This is tied for the finest 1882-CC Morgan dollar save one -- an MS68 PCGS coin. It is one of just seven MS67 coins at PCGS with the coveted Plus designation, and it is among only about two dozen Superb Gem non-Prooflike 1882-CC dollars with CAC endorsement (7/19). The Registry Set appeal is virtually unsurpassed, and as a Carson City type coin, collectors will almost never find a better one. Characteristically frosty mint luster and brilliant surfaces reveal near-perfect preservation. There is a touch of strike softness immediately above Liberty's ear, but this is only noticed upon close scrutiny. Eye appeal is outstanding. CAC: 26 in 67, 0 finer (7/19).
