Description

Wonderful 1919-S Quarter, MS64 Full Head

1919-S 25C MS64 Full Head PCGS. The branch mint quarters of 1919 are among the most challenging issues to find with Full Head details, with the Denver and San Francisco pieces engaged in a "race to the bottom" of sorts. Only a handful of pieces reach the level of this lovely Choice coin, distinctly detailed on the head and generally well-defined with great luster. Essentially silver-white at the centers with subtle golden-tan near the rims. Minimally marked for the grade with striking eye appeal, and housed in a green label holder. Population: 13 in 64 Full Head, 13 finer (11/08).(Registry values: N4719)

Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 243D, PCGS# 5733, Greysheet# 5580)

Weight: 6.25 grams
