Description

1832 B-2 Quarter, MS64
Richly Toned

1832 25C B-2, R.2, MS64 NGC. Intermingled rose, silver, gold, blue, and medium-gray show on both sides of this highly lustrous near-Gem, the blue predominating more on the reverse. Each side is sharply struck and nicely preserved. Minor strike weakness occurs on the lower reverse, on the branch and eagle's claws. A beautiful coin with rich luster and powerful eye appeal. Even though this is a supposedly "available" variety, collectors will have a difficult time finding a higher-grade example than this exceptional piece -- or a nicer-looking one, for that matter.
