1870 Seated Half Dollar, Conditionally Rare MS65
Smooth and Lustrous, Among the Finest Known

1870 50C WB-101 MS65 PCGS. CAC. The 1870 half dollar can be located in circulated condition but it is rare in all Mint State grades. This gorgeous MS65 piece displays lustrous surfaces that are nearly untoned except for whispers of golden-gray toning most visible on the reverse margin. Sharply struck, the coin reveals no marks of consequence anywhere on the satin-smooth surfaces. A hands-down Gem, deserving of the CAC endorsement with only one piece finer at PCGS. Population: 5 in 65, 1 finer. CAC: 2 in 65, 0 finer (5/16).
