Description

Midgrade 1916-D Dime, VF30
Rarest Regular Issue of Type

1916-D 10C VF30 NGC. Generally stone-white though protected areas display russet-gray. Most of the fasces lines are clear. Today, all collectors know the rarity of the 1916-D dime, but the issue was seldom set aside until long after its release, given that most survivors are in Fair to VG grades.
