High Grade 1894 Silver Dollar
PR66 Cameo
1894 $1 PR66 Cameo NGC. This fully struck Premium Gem
appears completely brilliant at first glance, but careful rotation
beneath a light reveals light pastel gold toning. The mirrored
fields are undisturbed by contact or hairlines, and the eye appeal
is exemplary. Only 972 proofs were issued. Census: 15 in 66 Cameo,
31 finer (5/16).Ex: Orlando FUN (Heritage, 1/2008), lot 5725, which realized $9,200.
