Description
1934-S Peace Dollar, Clean-Cheeked MS65+
VAM-3, 'Doubled Tiara'
1934-S $1 Doubled Tiara, VAM-3, MS65+ PCGS. A Top 50
Variety. Doubling and tripling on the tiara rays and the upper
locks of hair is an interesting bonus, yet the surface quality and
strike of this high-end 1934-S Gem are the real selling points.
Liberty's cheek is satin-smooth and unblemished. Likewise, the
obverse fields are free of all but the tiniest ticks. A few
splashes of tan-gold and bluish-gray toning are just enough to
confirm the originality of the high-luster surfaces. A beautifully
preserved example of this San Francisco key date in the series.
