Morgan dollar variety was the first struck, before the design was
modified to the 7 Tailfeathers type. The 8 Tailfeathers dollars are
eagerly sought by series fans. This Premium Gem example displays
softly frosted mint luster over untoned silver surfaces with a bold
strike and minimal signs of contact. Seldom seen finer. Population:
