1911-D $2 1/2 MS61 NGC. A pleasing lower-end Mint State example of this key Denver issue, showing sharp detail and bright, satiny luster. The mintmark is bold, and the diagnostic wire rim around the right obverse periphery is well-defined. There are no individually bothersome abrasions, although scattered lines in the fields preclude a finer grade.(Registry values: N2998)
