Bold Cameo Contrast
1880-CC $1 MS66 Prooflike PCGS. VAM-10. A dash below the
second 8 in the date suggests an 8/7 variety, although some believe
all 1880-CC dollars are overdates of one form or another. The
designated prooflike fields are more important, as is the strong
contrast between the frosted central devices and the surrounding
reflective surfaces. Abrasions are few and eye appeal is strong for
this Premium Gem Prooflike coin. Few pieces are known any finer.
