Description
1928 Quarter Eagle, MS66
None Certified Finer
1928 $2 1/2 MS66 PCGS. There are a few Indian Head quarter
eagle issues that are more accessible than the 1928 like the 1926
and 1927, but not many. That said, examples are important condition
rarities in MS66, and neither PCGS nor NGC have seen a single finer
example. This Premium Gem has light rose-gold surfaces that glisten
with radiant luster. Each side is strongly detailed centrally and
around the peripheries without any marks of note. Population: 12 in
66, 0 finer (5/16).(Registry values: N4719)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 289E, PCGS# 7952, Greysheet# 8613)
Weight: 4.18 grams
Metal: 90% Gold, 10% Copper
