Superb Cameo Proof 1869 Three Cent Nickel
1869 3CN PR67 Cameo PCGS. Fully struck with significant field depth and blatant, eye-appealing cameo contrast on each side. A few raised die lines (as struck) are evident on the obverse, especially laterally across Liberty's cheek, ear, and jaw. A U-shaped lintmark (also as struck) resides near the top of the reverse. A flashy and well preserved specimen, one of only three graded as PR67 Cameo by both services combined, with none finer (1/05).From the Bruce Scher #1 All-Time PCGS Registry Set.(#83765) (Registry values: N2998)
