Description
1926 Twenty Dollar, MS66
Colorful High-End Type Coin
1926 $20 MS66 PCGS. Booming luster graces the vivid
olive-gold surfaces that glisten with flashes of lavender and
orange on this well-preserved Saint-Gaudens double eagle. The
strike is nearly full, and there are only a few light grazes. The
1926 double eagle is a favorite among type collectors and this
appealing Premium Gem would certainly make an outstanding
representative. Although available in most grades, it is rare any
finer than MS66, as NGC and PCGS combined show just 18 such
examples (5/25).Ex: Internet Auction (Heritage, 10/2010), lot 20677.(Registry values: N2998)
