The 1890-CC double eagle claims a mintage of 91,209 pieces, making it one of the more available issues from the famous Western mint, and a popular choice of branch mint type collectors. Just the slightest trace of actual wear is evident on the well-detailed design elements of this attractive near-Mint specimen, but the lustrous orange-gold surfaces show many tiny abrasions on both sides.(Registry values: N1793)
