Rarely Encountered Finer
1905-S $20 MS64 PCGS. Mint State examples of the 1905-S
twenty are scattered throughout the MS60 to MS64 grades, with
Gem-quality coins being very rare. This satiny near-Gem displays
excellent eye appeal and sharp design elements. Some light handling
marks on Liberty's cheek and a few select ticks here and there are
all that limit the grade. PCGS has seen 12 numerically finer
submissions (6/16).(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 26D3, PCGS# 9048, Greysheet# 9966)
