1906-D $20 MS64+ PCGS. CAC. From a mintage of 620,250 pieces, the 1906-D Liberty double eagle can be located in MS64 condition without too much trouble, but finer examples are rare. This Plus-Graded Choice specimen displays sharply detailed design elements and lightly marked orange-gold surfaces, with vibrant mint luster and ample eye appeal. PCGS has graded 13 numerically finer examples (5/16).(Registry values: N2998)
