Description
1907 Arabic Numerals Twenty, MS66
Lustrous and Eye-appealing
1907 $20 Arabic Numerals MS66 PCGS. 30th Anniversary Green
Label Holder. Charles Barber's argument that Saint-Gaudens' double
eagle design was in too high of relief to efficiently mass produce
ultimately won out with Mint officials, when in late 1907, the low
relief of the present coin was used for the bulk of that year's
coinage. This Premium Gem Arabic Numerals 1907 Saint displays a
bold strike and shimmering honey-gold luster. There are few marks
of any sort, and eye appeal overflows. PCGS lists 18 Superb Gems
finer (6/16).(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 26F5, PCGS# 9141, Greysheet# 10132)
