Elusive Condition Scarcity
1914 $20 MS64+ PCGS. This frosty near-Gem is an elusive
condition scarcity in the Saint-Gaudens double eagle series, from a
mintage of 95,200 coins. Set Registry specialists in the double
eagle coinage should be quite pleased to have this opportunity.
Although PCGS has graded 41 of these in MS64+ and 43 others in
higher numerical grades (5/16), that supply is hardly sufficient to
meet the demand for such high grade examples. This piece has frosty
and highly lustrous lemon-yellow surfaces and bold design
