Description
Shining 1913-S Double Eagle, MS64
1913-S $20 MS64 NGC. This lower-mintage issue is popular, but finding an attractive piece can prove challenging, as most examples show a soft strike. The sun-gold piece offered here displays above-average detail, and the immensely lustrous surfaces show only light, scattered marks that are consistent with the grade. An appealing survivor from this issue of just 34,000 coins.(Registry values: N4719)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 26FR, PCGS# 9163, Greysheet# 10170)
Weight: 33.44 grams
