1908-S 1C MS66 Red PCGS. CAC. The first cent issue struck at a branch mint of the United States is the 1908-S. Only 1.1 million pieces were manufactured. This is essentially one of the finest available examples with gleaming, light copper-orange surfaces devoid of marks. Strike detail is strong everywhere except the feathertips. Population: 59 in 66 (4 in 66+) Red, 1 finer. CAC: 14 in 66, 0 finer (11/17).(Registry values: N2998)
