1927-S Half Dollar, MS65
Toned and Conditionally Scarce
1927-S 50C MS65 NGC. Light golden interior toning with
deeper russet border hues characterizes each side of this Gem
1927-S Walker. Moderate central strike softness is as usual for the
issue, which often displayed the poor strike quality common to San
Francisco issues in the late 1920s. Only a few small marks are
discernible under the patina. NGC Census: 45 in 65 (1 in 65+, 2 in
65?), 1 finer (12/25).(Registry values: N4719)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 24RA, PCGS# 6587, Greysheet# 6726)
