Description
Cameo Superb Gem 1894 Half Dollar Single Finest Certified by PCGS
1894 50C PR68 Cameo PCGS. Rich honey-gold color illuminates the peripheries. The major devices are snow-white and exhibit exceptional white on black Cameo contrast. The strike is needle-sharp, even on the fletchings and right shield corner, which are often indifferently impressed. Only 972 proofs were produced, and only a handful of survivors can compete with the eye appeal of this immaculate specimen. As of (1/05), this is the single finest PCGS certified 1894 Half Dollar. From the Bruce Scher #1 All-Time PCGS Registry Set.(#86541) (Registry values: N7079)
