1864 $10 -- Cleaned -- ANACS. AU Details. This scarce Philadelphia issue claims a minuscule circulation-strike mintage of 3,530 pieces, most of which were hoarded or exported during the Civil War. The 1864 ten dollar is rare in all grades. Yellow-gold coloration is imbued with traces of reddish-lavender on both sides of this AU Details specimen, each of which exhibits sharply struck design features. While lightly cleaned, the surfaces are devoid of serious abrasions.
