Desirable VF Sharpness 1793 Wreath Cent
Vine and Bars Edge, S-9, B-12
1793 1C Wreath, Vine and Bars, S-9, B-12, R.2--Scratched,
Improperly Cleaned--NCS. VF Details.The obverse shows an angled stem on the sprig below Liberty, and the reverse has a diagonal spray of berries below the first S of STATES. Vine and Bars edge is not visible in the holder. This primarily chocolate-brown example has desirable mid-range detail. Porous surfaces show evidence of past cleaning, and each obverse field shows the remains of a shallow, scratched X. EAC 12.
