Description

1890-CC Dollar, Richly Toned MS65

1890-CC $1 MS65 PCGS. Areas of brilliance brighten surfaces mostly toned in mingled shades of crimson and violet with splashes of rainbow iridescence. Softly frosted luster issues from beneath the colorful overlay, enhancing the allure of this Gem Carson City Morgan dollar. From a mintage of 2.3 million coins, the 1890-CC is scarce in MS65 and very rare any finer. To that point, there are only 15 higher grading events at PCGS (5/16).(Registry values: P5, N2998)
