1879 $1 Morgan Dollar, Judd-1612, Pollock-1808, Low R.7, PR64 Red PCGS. A regular 1879 Morgan dollar obverse is paired with a pattern reverse, depicting a large upright eagle with spread wings. The statutory legends exclude IN GOD WE TRUST. Struck in copper with a reeded edge. Housed in a Generation 3.1 green label holder, this Choice proof carries the PCGS Red designation with light violet and blue mellowing of the mint color on the obverse. The reverse displays rich cherry-red surfaces.
