Remarkably High-End for the Issue

1936 50C Wisconsin MS68+ NGC. CAC. The Wisconsin Territorial Centennial half dollar comes from a distribution of 25,015 pieces. Examples are plentiful in most grades but are scarce in MS68 and nearly unknown numerically finer. This Plus-graded CAC coin is remarkably attractive, showing original sun-orange, copper-red, and olive-green toning over each side that lightens in the centers. The strike is sharp and the preservation is virtually flawless. Census: 46 in 68 (3 in 68+, 7 in 68 , 1 in 68+ ), 1 finer. CAC: 25 in 68, 0 finer (4/18).(Registry values: N2998)
