A CoinFacts Plate Coin

1907 5C MS66+ PCGS Secure. CAC. Thoroughly lustrous, frosty surfaces yield the barest trace of light blue and gold color. The corn ear to the left of the wreath bow and the upper obverse stars show the usual strike weakness. Only a single finer example of this issue is certified, and it is not known to have ever appeared at auction. This piece is among the finest currently available. Population: 45 in 66 (6 in 66+), 1 finer. CAC: 15 in 66, 0 finer (10/17).
