None Numerically Finer
1874 5C MS66 PCGS. None of the more than 3.5 million Shield
nickels struck in 1874 are numerically finer than the Premium Gem
offered here. A soft, satiny sheen graces clean nickel-gray
surfaces. The shield lines are crisp, as are most of the olive
leaves and star radials, though a touch of incompleteness is noted
in certain areas. Beautifully preserved. Population: 35 in 66 (18
