1842 50C Small Date, Large Letters, WB-101, Die Pair 5, R.3, MS61 Prooflike NGC. A brilliant and flashy half dollar from the first year of the Large Letters subtype. The strike is bold except for the usual incompleteness on the eagle's left (facing) ankle.
