Description

1920 Twenty Dollar, MS64
Extremely Rare Any Finer

1920 $20 MS64 PCGS. With no double eagles struck since 1916, both the Philadelphia and San Francisco Mints worked long hours producing coinage including twenty dollar gold pieces in 1920. The Philadelphia double eagle production was 228,250 pieces, while the San Francisco facility more than doubled that output. This is a Choice Uncirculated 1920 P-mint example, with attractive orange-gold surfaces and a far sharper strike than normally seen. PCGS reports only three numerically finer examples (3/25).(Registry values: N2998)
