Description
1901 Morgan Dollar, MS62
Famously Elusive in High Grades
1901 $1 MS62 PCGS. The 1901 is one of the more famous
condition rarities in the Morgan dollar series. This is a frosty
MS62 representative with dappled golden toning around the the
obverse border. Strike definition is typical for the issue, and a
couple of heavy abrasions appear on Liberty's portrait and the
eagle's breast. Nevertheless, examples are scarcely seen
finer.(Registry values: P9, N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 256J, PCGS# 7272, Greysheet# 7590)
