Description

1876-CC Twenty Dollar, AU55
Well-Detailed Example

1876-CC $20 AU55 NGC. Winter 5-B. Mintmark has second C partly over the second T in TWENTY. The star radials are completely defined on this minimally circulated Choice-AU, with Liberty's curls showing good detail for the Type Two design. Orange-gold surfaces display subtle hues of apricot and lilac on remaining mint luster. Abrasions are typical of the grade with none that stand out as bothersome. Eye appeal is quite pleasing, particularly on the reverse.(Registry values: N1793)
