1892-S $20 Saddle Ridge Hoard MS63+ PCGS. Ex: Saddle Ridge
Hoard. The Saddle Ridge Hoard changed the upper ranks of several
late 1800s double eagles including the 1892-S. This Plus-graded
Select Uncirculated example displays plentiful frosty mint luster
and a few scattered areas of gray grime, possibly from its time
spent in a tin can buried beneath the ground. This nearly Choice
Mint State coin is needle-sharp well-deserving of its MS63+ grade.
It remains in its special gold foil PCGS Saddle Ridge holder. PCGS
Population: 54 in 63 (19 in 63+), 34 finer (7/25).From The Siesta Key Collection.
