Copper-Nickel Pattern, PR63

1858 P1C Indian Cent, Judd-212, Pollock-263, R.4, PR63 PCGS. CAC. Snow-PT25. The obverse dies are the same type used to coin regular-issue Indian cents from 1860-1864, with a centered date. The reverse features the ONE CENT denomination inside an oak wreath with shield. Struck in copper-nickel with a plain edge. A lightly hairlined but nonetheless pleasing Select specimen of the date with heather accents over light copper-orange surfaces. A small spot is noted just off the lower right portion of the shield.
