Bass-Dannreuther Die State b/b. Ample orange-gold luster graces
this well-defined and pleasing Choice AU early half eagle. The
central reverse has a few light Mint-made adjustment marks, but the
eye appeal is nonetheless impressive. BD-1 is distinguished by a
lengthy die line from the eagle's beak to the left shield tip.Ex: Baltimore Signature (Heritage, 3/2009), lot 2847, which realized $9,200.(Registry values: P2)
