Spectacular Multicolor Toning
1880 T$1 PR66 NGC. Exquisite orange and pearl-gray toning
drapes the fields and devices, while luminous ice-blue patina
graces the peripheries. This unblemished proof-only Premium Gem
exhibits outstanding eye appeal. The reverse appears fully struck,
and the obverse shows incompleteness only on the curls near the
coronet and the centers of the right-side stars. Census: 46 in 66
(2 in 66+, 2 in 66 ★ ), 18 finer (4/14).Ex: Dallas Signature (Heritage, 11/2007), lot 992.
