1854-S G$1 MS62 NGC. The 1854-S gold dollar is one of the more available issues from the first year the San Francisco Mint was open. The mintage was 14,632 pieces and Uncirculated examples can occasionally be found. The orange-gold surfaces on this coin are lightly abraded, and the strike is generally well brought up.
