Description

1918 Quarter, Lightly Toned MS66 Full Head

1918 25C MS66 Full Head PCGS. CAC. The 1918 is one of the more plentiful issues in Full Head (relatively speaking), but such pieces achieving the Premium Gem grade level are scarce, and finer coins are genuinely rare. Small, scattered splashes of toning are present over both sides of this Premium Gem, primarily on the obverse, including shades of bluish-gray and light russet toning. Attractively lustrous, with a pleasing full head and above-average detail overall. One of 16 stickered in this grade at CAC. Population: 43 in 66 (1 in 66+) Full Head, 12 finer (6/15).(Registry values: N2998)
