1844-O No Motto Ten, AU58
Repunched Mintmark, Misplaced Digits
1844-O $10 AU58 PCGS. CAC. Variety 1. The mintmark is
repunched within the loop, and misplaced date digits are within the
dentils beneath the 84 in the date. The present lemon-gold New
Orleans ten has a sharp strike and only a trace of wear on the
coronet tip and the hair above the ear. Struck from clashed dies.
